WENT TO LONDON TO SEE THE QUEEN

On Tuesday I went to London, to go to a casting. Sadly I did not see the queen but I did bump into Carine Roitfield in the lift at Claridge's and weirdly just said hiya to her because I recognised her. Then I went to Liberty and went a little Diptyque crazy. All I wanted was a candle and I came out with the new Vanilla scent and a load of free goodies to show for it. Sales people get me every time.
I also got some wicked cool cards so i can keep up my letter writing to my gran. When she last came over from Palm Springs she told me how she used to love going to Liberty back in the day, so she'll get a kick out of these.
The collection is from the publishing house Roger la Borde and on the Liberty website they only have the 'ocean and moon' box which was the other option I was going for.

Friday

Surreal

Sweet leather jacket by Bess at net-a-porter. Its like nothing else this jacket.

Tuesday

Vauthier/FrostFrench

This was shot in like April or earlier this year and I thought I would never see these pictures again. It was a test for the label Frost French. Victor was one hell of a cool dude to shoot with, it was actually an awesome day and the amount of film we went trough was incredible and made me feel massively old school.

Monday

Chanel Rocks

One hell of a party.

Love Betty

Now I'm ill and I've finally had to stop and hole up in my room for a few days, I've had a chance to catch up magazines that I've wanted to just sit down and read. Mainly LOVE. I had a right good laugh when I read they were devoting the issue to boobs, absolutely genius. I got some serious love for Katie Grand!

My favourite story has to be the beautiful Betty Page inspired shoot they did with Liv Tyler. I love how they created the iconic fringe by pinning, rolling and tucking her hair in place, I love the cashmere coats, the comfy knit Prada jumper and the knit corset (which I seriously wish I could afford) to make it on trend but then throwing in the old vintage lingerie and pin up inspired make up to bring out Liv's inner Betty. And then the random ankle bracelet that Liv seems to be wearing throughout.

Also here's a knock out Betty picture as well just because I love the woman.
